Ladies and lovers of men, SIEMPRE is the Spanish lullaby Madonna told us about. The album by Il Divo features four men unafraid to show the magnificence of their voices, as well as heart throbbing diminuendo, power and tenderness. Be not deceived. These alpha-crooners are doing nothing new here; there’s not much you haven’t heard before. Except they’re singing it in Spanish. ¡HOLA! Ballads like “Nights in White Satin,” “Without You,” and “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman”—music that meant something, but dissolved into sappy love songs with overuse. They’ve found new potency en EspaƱol. (And Italian.)
These four men pour their voices into each note like chocolate melting into rich harmony. The grandiose instrumental plays perfect balance with the vocals as the emotion plunges and soars. The melodrama is lost in lack of translation.
And in the end, they sing to you in English. Yes, they do know your tongue. !! The last song, “Somewhere,” becomes personal on top of what is already sensual throughout the album. You should not fall in love with this music. But you do. Good luck resisting.

And not too bad on the eyes...:-)
Very true. I ripped the album cover out of the CD case so I could admire them. ;)
